All Friends of all ages are invited to join an All Age Gathering of Friends in Europe and the Middle East in August 2026. This is a rare opportunity to connect with Friends from around the whole Section – and beyond – building community through worship, discussion and play.

EMES is all about bringing Friends together to build community and that’s why the AAG is so important for all of us! We need your help to make the gathering accessible to everyone who wants to come which is why we are writing to ask for your financial support. EMES has committed to raise €8,000/£7,000 in order to set up a bursary fund to support Friends in the following categories in attending the AAG:
- Young adults
- Families with children
- Friends with limited or low incomes
- Students
- Friends from countries in EMES with lower incomes
We are writing to ask if you are able to make a contribution to the fund (in addition to your usual contribution towards EMES work if you make one), and help us achieve our target by May 2026. We encourage you to share this letter with Friends in your meeting or Quaker community and consider holding a collection – please let us know if you would like us to try to arrange for a speaker at your meeting to help with the fundraising campaign.
