From the life of an EMEYF gatherings coordinator

Paul has been our Gatherings Coordinator. He made sure that Spring Gathering and other events were being organised.

As we are looking for a new EMEYF Gatherings Coordinatior, we wanted to hear from Paul about his experience.

“As a meeting coordinator, I accompanied the planning committee for the upcoming gathering. Often I was in the background, but at the same time I could be as involved as I wanted in the planning of a meeting. I supported the planning teams with concrete questions and problems and, as part of the communications committee, I communicated between the committee and the planning team.
I really enjoyed being a gathering coordinator. When a meeting is well organized, everyone in the group can feel comfortable, be inspired and recharged.
It was exciting and challenging to work with different groups and to relate the needs of the community to the different locations.
It was inspiring to experience the work of the Communications Committee and to be involved as much as possible in my daily life.
My time as Gathering Coordinator was marked by the pandemic and I am glad that we are able to have Gatherings in Presence again. Because it is nice to bring people together :-)”

This sounds interesting to you? Suggestions of names the Nominations Committee might want to consider are welcome – as well as self-nominations! We look forward to hearing from you!
