P: Was liebst du an der Natur?
N: Alles. Ich finde z.B. die Höhe von Bäumen beeindruckend und wie komisch sie wachsen können, z.B. als Torbogen – hab ich mal im Wald gesehen.
P: Was darf für dich an der Natur nicht verloren gehen?
N: Das Grüne, die Blätter – nichts darf verloren gehen, was für die Natur und uns wichtig ist.
P: Was willst du Anderen gerne zu Umweltschutz sagen?
N: Anstatt Auto lieber Zug oder Bus fahren oder Fahrrad oder zu Fuß.
P: Welches Verkehrsmittel benutzt du am liebsten?
N: Zu Fuß.
P: Warum?
N: Weil es Spaß macht, unsere Gelenke aufbessert und für die Natur gut ist.
P: Was tust du noch, um die Umwelt zu schützen?
N: Ich gehe viel zu Fuß, fahre Fahrrad oder Zug. Ich esse kein Fleisch, damit schütze ich die Tierwelt.
P: Was könnten deine Eltern tun, um die Umwelt besser zu schützen?
N: Selbst Essen anbauen – und das Essen, das uns fehlt, kaufen wir dann.
P: Meine letzte Frage. Worüber freust du dich, wenn du auf ein Quäkertreffen fährst?
N: Dass viele dabei sind, die ich kenne. Und es ist schön, meine Freunde wiederzusehen.

P: What do you love about nature?
N: Everything. I find, for example the height of trees impressive and how weird they can grow, e.g. as an archway – I once saw one in the forest.
P: What should not be lost for you about nature?
N: The green, the leaves – nothing must be lost, which is important for nature and us.
P: What do you want to tell others about environmental sustainability?
N: Rather than driving go by train or bus or bike or walk.
P: Which means of transport do you prefer to use?
N: On foot.
P: Why?
N: Because it’s fun, it improves our joints and it’s good for nature.
P: What else are you doing to protect the environment?
N: I walk a lot, ride a bike or train. I do not eat meat, so I protect animals.
P: What could your parents do to better protect the environment?
N: Grow your own food – and then buy the food that we lack.
P: My last question. What are you looking forward to when you are going to a Quaker meeting?
N: That there are many who I know. And it’s nice to see my friends again.
