Love from EMEYF Spring Gathering! We hope you are all enjoying a relaxing and inspiring Easter weekend!

From my parents’ kitchen:
Look to this day, for it is life,
The very life of life!
Within its brief span lie all the verities
And the realities of your existence:
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendor of beauty.
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision;
But today well lived makes every
Yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope,
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the Salutation to the Dawn.Translated from the Sanskrit by Bob Segbarth
For me this salutation is more than a friendly reminder of the opportunities and uniqueness of the morning. It’s a greeting and a honoring of each new day as it arrives, sounding hopeful at the same time.
